Father Charles Khachan

Reverend Father Charles Khachan was born in Ebreen, Batroun District, North Lebanon. He joined the Order of the Maronite Lebanese Missionaries in 1992. After receiving a degree in Theology from Holy Spirit University in Lebanon, Fr. Khachan was ordained to the priesthood on July 4, 1999.

Fr. Khachan served as administrator of Middle School at Cadmous School in Tyre in South Lebanon between 1999 and 2003. In December 2003 He moved to the United States and served as associate pastor at St. Maron Church in Cleveland, OH until 2006.

During that time he received a Master’s Degree in Education from John Carroll University. Between 2006 and 2011 Fr. Khachan served as associate pastor at St. George Church in San Antonio, TX. In 2012 he became pastor of Our Lady of Lebanon in Lombard, IL.

In October 2013 Fr. Khachan returned to serve as pastor of St. George Church in San Antonio, TX. In 2015 Fr. Khachan finished his doctoral degree in education at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Bishop Elias Zaidan appointed Fr. Khachan as coordinator for CLFW/Project Roots for the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles.
