Season of Great Lent
- Join us every Friday at 7:00 PM during the season of Great Lent for the Stations and Benediction of the Holy Cross. During the service we will learn about our Maronite Liturgy with our Liturgy 101 Series. A Lenten potluck meal will follow at the MCC.
During the season of Great Lent, we will offer our prayer– intentions for persecuted Christians. Every week, an information sheet about the Christians in the Middle East will be published in the bulletin.
The Annual Lenten Appeal for the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon is now taking place. The Eparchy relies upon you to support our Maronite parishes, like this one, and train our future Maronite priests. Every family is asked to participate in the Appeal at a level which is meaningful for them and be generous. You can mail your donation or drop it in the collection basket. Our parish’s goal for this year’s Appeal is $11,000.00. Please be generous and support your Eparchy. Thank you. Please click here for more information about the Appeal. Ready to contribute? Lent is our time to cultivate a spirit of global solidarity. During the Season of Great Lent, we will team up with St. Brigid Church in the annual Lenten non-perishable food drive. Donate one can for every day of Lent per parish family. Donations will support the food pantry which is organized and supported by the St. Brigid chapter of St. Vincent De Paul Society. Donations are handed out in the coming year to those less fortunate in our surrounding community. Let’s make this a successful drive!
Applications are now being accepted for the St. George Scholarship. They are available in the church office. Please turn in the applications to the church office no later than April 8, 2018. Please click here for the scholarship form.
Our trip to Lebanon will be this summer from July 21 to August 2. Information about the trip can be found in the bulletin. Deadline to make your reservation is April 15. After that date it will be based upon availability. Please click here for more information about the trip.
