Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas Concert & Angel Tree

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

On December 8, we will have liturgy at 7:00 PM for Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation. After the liturgy, there will be a reconciliation service so that we may better prepare ourselves spiritually to celebrate this Christmas season; we will have several priests available for confessions.

Christmas Concert

This year, the St. George Maronite Catholic Church Choir & Faith Formation Community will be hosting our annual Christmas Concert. This will take place on Saturday, December 16 after the 5:00 PM Children’s Liturgy from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A reception will then follow in the MCC with a visit from St. Nicholas! (Santa Claus)

All children are encouraged to participate in the Concert this year, and all families are welcome to attend and join in the musical celebration of this joyful season!

Please R.S.V.P. for the reception by December 10th by calling the Church Office.

Angel Tree

“For it is in giving that we receive.” ~St. Francis of Assisi

‘Tis the season of giving. It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The tree is up and the angels await. All are invited to stop by the MYO Angel Tree to select an angel to sponsor. Our angels this year are from the Seton Home, a Catholic organization that works to break the cycle of abuse and poverty for young mothers and their children. Please drop off unwrapped gifts at any of the weekend Liturgies or at the parish office by Sunday, December 17th, as to allow us to deliver in time for Christmas Day. Thank you for your support. Please contact Lisa Delgado if you have any questions at (210) 844-2041.
