Holy Week, Rice Bowls, 40 Cans, LAS & More

Holy Week Schedule

Please check the bulletin for Holy Week and Easter Schedule. Services are at 7:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursday. We will have Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Thursday night from 8:00 PM until Midnight.

On Good Friday, we will have the Anaphora of the signing of the chalice at 8:00 AM and Adoration of the Cross at 7:00 PM. We would like to invite everyone to bring a flower or flowers to be placed on the coffin of Christ before it is placed in the tomb.  These flowers will be blessed and passed out on Easter Sunday. Following the service, we will have a Mjaddra Lenten dinner to benefit the MYA at the MCC.

Rice Bowls

If you picked up a Rice Bowl on Ash Monday, please return it by Sunday, April 23, 2017 so that your donations will be sent to Catholic Relief Services. Thank you for your support and generosity.

40 Cans for Lent

During Season of Great Lent, we team up with St. Brigid Church the in the annual Lenten non-perishable food drive. Donate one can for every day of Lent per parish family. Donations support the food pantry, which is organized and supported by the St. Brigid chapter of St. Vincent de Paul Society. Donations are handed out in the coming year, to those less fortunate in our surrounding community. Let’s make this a successful drive!

Ladies Altar Society Events

– The Ladies Altar Society will be selling candles in memory or in honor of someone, or for your special intentions. Candles are $5.00 each and will be placed on the adoration altar on Holy Thursday. You can purchase your candle  after all weekend liturgies.

Adult Religious Education

We are preparing to start an adult religious education class for those who are interested in learning more about the Catholic and Maronite Faith.  We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of the Church and give participants a better understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church. If you are interested, please contact Fr. Charles for more information.
